Welcome to The Whole Child Early Learning Centre Ltd., where we have been creating magic since January, 2016! Our philosophy is a delightful blend of inspiring ideas from incredible pioneers in early learning such as Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Steiner, Emmi Picker, and Te Whariki. Our mission is to ignite passion, awe, and wonder through play, while nurturing both our educators and the amazing children in our care, all within a warm and inviting environment.
We are dedicated to providing exceptional care for future innovators, doctors, architects, and more—our wonderful children and families are truly part of our extended family!

The Whole Child provides a service and experiences that are unique to our community, we also specialize in providing a safe, social space for neurodiverse children alongside their peers. Every child brings their own unique strengths and our mission is to discover, support and help them grow these abilities. By celebrating our differences, we empower young children for success. Our inclusive approach fosters empathy, understanding and a sense of belonging, helping cultivate a kinder future for everyone.

The Whole Child provides the option of early arrival for shift workers between 6:45am and 7:30am.

Both of our kids attended from the time they were just babies—8 months and 4 months old—and stayed until they reached school age. From day one, I was struck by how genuinely caring and attentive the staff were. Each caregiver took the time to get to know my children as individuals, understanding their personalities and helping them thrive. The structured routine, thoughtfully organized by age group across three fun, activity-filled rooms and a huge outdoor space, gave my kids a wonderful sense of security and plenty of opportunities to explore and learn.
What truly sets this daycare apart is how much they go above and beyond. My children didn’t just learn letters and numbers—they developed emotional intelligence and life skills like calming breathing techniques and conflict resolution. I will never forget the kind gestures like after my youngest had a seizure and had to spend time in the hospital, Judy, the owner, personally stopped by to drop off a get well gift for her. The stuffed animal she brought is still my youngest's best friend several years later and takes it everywhere. That level of compassion is rare. Whole child will always be a safe space for my children (even after they have "graduated" we still visit).
